Rules for Buyers – Overview
We strive to maintain a safe, fair, and enjoyable auction marketplace for both buyers and sellers. Buyers have to go through and understand our policies, including Terms & Conditions before bidding. By placing a bid you are agreeing to all of our rules and policies, including out Terms & Conditions.
Our policies are intended to:
- Follow local laws and regulations
- Minimize risks to buyers and sellers/vendors
- Make sure that no one has an unfair advantage
- Create an enjoyable auction experience
Rules about bidding and paying
- You cannot use Twenty359 if your account contains false or inaccurate contact information. Buyers, sellers/vendors and administrators sometimes need to be able to get in touch with each other.
- You must pay for any item you won during an auction. Bidding can be intense and enjoyable, do note that each bid is a binding contract to buy the item if you win. The buyer is obliged to complete the transaction within 5 days, after the time frame the seller can notify us by lodging a official complain. Not paying for an item after you agree to buy can lead to the buyer being suspended from 2359hrs.com and all affiliated sites.
- If you know the seller, you can’t bid on the item with the intent to increase its price or desirability artificially. This rule applies to family, friends, roommates, employees, and online connections. Buying/ Bidding items from someone just to increase their review score or intentionally drive up the bidding price is called shill bidding and it’s against our policies.
- Be cautious when bidding on several items if you only want one. If you are the winning bidder of more than one auction listing, you are obliged to purchase all the items you’ve won, even if they’re the same or similar.
- Read the listing description before you bid. Many issues or concerns buyers and sellers encounter are the result of simple misunderstandings about what is for sale especially the condition of the item.
Rules about leaving reviews
- You cannot abuse the feedback system by threaten to leave a seller negative feedback if that seller won’t do something that wasn’t promised in the original listing.
- Similarly, they can’t use feedback to force a seller to accept a return, or give a refund. If you find yourself in a dispute with the seller please contact us at [email protected].
- Also, you can’t leave feedback if you’re only doing it to help increase a seller’s feedback score. This is a type of feedback manipulation and is also prohibited.
If you are having problems with a bid product you won
- First check and confirm with the listing image and description to ensure that it is consistent. (If not please proceed to the next step)
- Be courteous and contact the seller to inform him/her about the issue(s)/concern(s) that you are facing and discuss and try to reach a solution
- Be honest and have good intentions when you try to resolve a transaction problem
- If there are still concerns and the buyer and seller are not able to come to terms please contact the us at [email protected]
- It is against the Twenty359 rules to try and contact other potential buyers to “warn” them about a seller. This is called transaction interference. If you have a concern about a seller’s behavior, report it to us and we’ll investigate
Things to Note
- Twenty359 acts only as a platform for Seller and buyers to initiate a transaction, at no means the buyer is completing a transaction with Twenty359.
- If the buyer has selected payment through Direct Dealing With Vendor, he/she will have to contact the vendor directly to complete the payment and details for the transaction.
- If you face issues with sellers not abiding to the rules. Eg. fail to ship out with proof of shipping, items received are not as advertise you can reach out to us and we will review the transaction.
- Twenty359 will recommend a solution that would be unbiased that is based on our rules and regulations. Non-conformance may lead to your account being suspended.
